How to replace a washing machine motor on a Bosch, Neff, Siemens or Balay

Here is a step by step guide of the process:

Replacing a motor on a washing machine might sound scary, but it’s a surprisingly easy to replace. We are working on a Bosch but this video is good for Bosch, Neff, Siemens or Balay washing machines.

1                 Remove the lid and the back panel.

2                 Then you need to remove the washing machine belt that is attached to the motor and drum pulley.

3                 You will now need to remove the bolts that attach the motor to the washing machine drum.

4                 Using a flat blade screwdriver ease the motor of the drum brackets or lugs.

5                 Now that the motor is off you will be able to check the motor to see if the motor brushes are worn if not you might have a more serious problem and might need to get the motor checked or the Pcb might have failed (printed circuit board)

The next video is, how to replace washing machine carbon brushes
